The Dementia Befriending Service is a new service planned by the LCPG which will allow an hour or two respite to family carers providing home care on a

full-time basis to a member of family with Dementia or Alzheimer.

While the roll-out of this service has been put on temporary hold, with the support & guidance of the Good Morning Service, the LCPG hope to have this

‘volunteer’ based support up and running over the course of 2021.
